we’ve been loving matthew bomer on USA’s new crime dramedy, white collar. (we were also big fans of him on chuck and the quickly-canceled traveler.)

so we hope reports that the actor is—minus any actual public declaration—actually out and proud are, in fact, true. and if it’s also true his boyfriend (and possible baby-daddy) is publicity-powerhouse simon halls, we’re even more delighted. hollywood’s in need of a hot gay super-couple.

i interviewed simon halls for out a couple of years ago—for a piece about just what it would take for a big actor to come out. (no, i don’t think bomer qualifies as A-list, but he’s not unknown, and clearly USA is banking on him for this series.)
